The Climate Risk Overview: What does it actually do?

In the Netherlands, water management is very well organized, so you would almost forget how vulnerable many (other) areas are. In the new global (!) Van Oord's Climate Risk Overview brings a lot of data together, in various data layers. The data all comes from public sources and is divided into sections of coastline, each 10 kilometers long.

Within the tool, you can filter for the various parameters, so that you can zoom in to certain hotspots of your choice. Everyone around the world can use the tool to gather, store and share information about endangered coastal zones. In short: the Climate Risk Overview provides users with insight into the risks of coastal zones. This is another excellent reminder to take action - where necessary - to reduce risks.
