
Centraal Bureau Levensmiddelenhandel represents the interests of supermarkets and food service companies such as Albert Heijn, Jumbo and Lidl. We supported this trade association by developing a renewed website with a member portal, which will better inform their members about various themes within the industry.


During the workshops, we found out that CBL could not properly fulfill its function online. Sharing and showing accurate information about the industry was not sufficiently achieved through their website. That's why we've strategically integrated figures, news, press releases and thematic information throughout the website, so visitors get a good idea of the industry on every page. The introduction of the member portal is also a great next step to inform visitors and members even better about substantive cases such as certification.

CBL only had a logo without a coherent visual identity. We've supplemented this with distinctive brand elements such as a unique font, a special set of icons and optimized colors for digital use. By adding these brand elements to the identity, we ensure greater familiarity. In addition, we've implemented the visual identity on other expressions, both online and offline, for a consistent and recognisable brand experience.
