How we work on the future of inspection software, as an external design team

Since 2023, Evers + de Gier has been working as an external in-house design team with Normec QC One, market leader in the digitization of fruit and vegetable inspection. Together, we're taking their digital products to the next level.

We design for both the QC One web application and mobile apps. We do this with UX/UI glasses and with input from the end user: quality controllers and judges. We improve existing flows, develop new features and test what works in practice.

As an external team, we are really part of their process. Every week, we check in with their product team, online or on location. Communication takes place directly via Slack. Thanks to this close collaboration, we can dive deep into the world of AGF and design that matches the reality of the field.

Through our collaboration, QC One accelerates its innovative strength. Recently, they launched their Inspector App on both iOS and Android. With this step, they increase flexibility for users in the field and strengthen their position as market leader in the fresh produce sector.

We will continue to build that future with design that is scalable, intuitive and designed for people with precision in their work.
